If you’ve ever heard the title track off Heidi Raye’s “Blame It On The Radio” 2018 sophomore EP, you’ll know that this Canadian born songstress’ upbringings are straight out of a country song.  “I was born and raised on AM waves, rolling down gravel roads, the way I walk and talk ain’t my fault, blame it on the radio.” Raye unapologetically describes the country cliche life growing up in a small town in British Columbia perfectly in her sorry, not sorry tune.

To date, Raye, (a Harlan Howard Records’ artist) has garnered over 600,000 streams on Spotify and has been featured on Spotify’s Wild Country and New Boots playlist. Her debut EP, “Worth A Shot” (2017), was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Chuck Ainlay, and the title track and debut single reached the Top 45 on the Music Row charts. Over the years this songstress has shared the stage with country legends Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Jason Aldean, Reba McEntire and Martina McBride.

Currently Raye is touring with singer/songwriter husband, Johnny Bulford throughout North America. Bulford and Raye started “Johnny and Heidi’s Writers Round”; a tour with multiple guest artists and songwriters that takes the Nashville “Listening Room” experience beyond the confines of Music Row.
